I read this touching post - and your comment to Roo’s response. My heart goes out to you. And, as always, to Roo. :) I have been through this twice with my own parents, and others as part of my work experience. I will say that God’s grace, the healing process, and the passage of time, will help to ease the memories of the physical changes you were there to see. I do believe that your Grandmother was blessed by the presence of her loved ones here - surrounded - (in your words). And then she was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Savior. What a beautiful home-going that must have been.

So you only have another month to stress out over going to the hospital. :)

Don’t forget that if you aks the doctors will give you Cheech and Chong to keep as a memento. Just remember William Shatner sold his kidney stone on e-bay for thousands. You have so many friends I am sure some would like a piece of you to keep on their mantle. :)

We have a baby shower that day for a gal in our little group of missionary friends.

When I read the title of the post I thought you were going to tell us that you were served a jury duty summons. That has happened to us about four times since we have been on the field. My aunt gets us out of it by writing them some kind of letter. (She lives in the same city we are registered in.) And she always is so jealous because for her whole life she has wanted to do jury duty and they have never contacted her.

So are you going to have a going away party for Cheech & Chong?
