four-minute friday: venti joy

Go.

This is my third Four-Minute Friday for you, Hombre, but I don’t even know if you’re reading them. Hmph. That’s ok. To you I shall keep writing.

Amy and I went to Target yesterday. Peaberry had just eaten and sacked out (I’ve totally picked up Amy’s phrase for fallen asleep), so she was very easy to bring along. All we did was buy baby stuff, but it was great to be out and about—just us girls!

The very best part, I must admit, was that there’s a Starbucks in Target.

I got a chai. I even got it supersized. It was a Venti non-fat, extra-hot chai kind of day. And they gave us these handy-dandy cup holders that clip onto the shopping cart, which made me giddy. (You know me, always gettin’ excited about the little things!)

I can’t wait till you’re back and we can Starbucks it up together. And of course we’ll have lots of lunch dates.

In the meantime, keep missing me, ok?

Done.

In the meantime, keep missing me, ok?

This statement is:

astounding
inspiring
thought provoking
lovely

*** We should ALL say this each and EVERY Day.

Sniff…

Target rocks!

heidi — who would you say it to?

gigi — indeed!

Hmm…

My husband
My kids..

My friends… You!!

My god..

awww… so good. so good!

Venti bliss indeed. I’m totally picking up Peaberry… how cute is that…

have at it, friend!

Hmpfh. It won’t let me use my WordPress ID. *kick*

I agree with Heidi.

And Target and Starbucks together is a fantastic idea. I love those.

I don’t think it’s possible to forget to miss you. I’m sure he misses you more than he can express.

roo — yeah, i think it’s a great combo, too! (and weird that you couldn’t sign in!)

becca — i sure hope so!

i’m baaaack.
and yes. becca=very correct.
especially since it’s you we’re talking about. but also because that’s just how missing people goes. you just don’t forget to miss people you love who aren’t with you.
like i’m missing you. :)

but then there’s the whole “out of sight, out of mind” thing, ya know?

is he coming back?

True, there is that. But I think that’s only temporary. As in… only minutes/hours in a day. I’m definitely feeling more of the “absence makes the heart grow fonder” thing. Though I don’t like that phrase, because it’s not quite accurate. Just more-so than “out of mind.” :)

so.
we have a starbucks and target here.

i’m just sayin

yeller — he is! i’ll have to fill you in…

roo — you know, i was thinking that, too — we need a better way of saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder”. (and… thanks!)

mandy — that’s it. i’m sold! here i come!

pack up & come on!!!

i have a couch that is my favorite get-away when i can’t sleep.
i’ll let you borrow it!!!

you’re really tempting me now, mandy!
