jabberwacky: banana splits

I’ll be traveling for the next 30 hours straight; I know you’re jealous.

In the meantime, why don’t you guys keep yourselves occupied with a little wordplay.

Rules:

  • Post the first word or phrase that comes to mind when you read the word above yours in the comments.
  • Come back and add to the mix as often as you’d like.
  • You can challenge the preceding commenter to explain if you don’t understand the connection they made when they wrote their word. (If you know your word choice won’t make sense to others, take time to explain it.)
  • The last word when I close comments will be the first word next time.

Last time we started with Africa and ended with banana splits. Let’s see what happens this round!

Starter word: banana splits

sorrow(sorry) - (you’re) welcome
There’s also a feeling of ‘welcome sorrow’ in there, the kind that Jesus’s suffering brings to our Heart ( <B )

better - gambler? better - one who bets! i have a weird way of looking at the world and words sometimes. :-)

And before you ask.. windows - (panes) pains! it was either that or ‘Mac’s’) comes full circle from Mandy’s ‘Sorrow’)

Kristiapplesauce: pills -> babies? huh?

Thanks for the explanation Bob. I am with Mandy wondering the connection between: pills –> Babies. When we were young my mom, in times of frustration and to lighten the mood, would call us “pills”. Is it something like that?

Oh - are we still playing? (This is a fun game!)

If we are playing then I am going with:

one-man-band

Bozo the clown.
