Hmmmm … I’m not sure I’m as creative as the three before me. I see an incredible thunderstorm all alone in the middle of a clear sky. It makes me think about God - how sometimes when we think nothing is happening, really He’s got something big building up, right on the horizon. If we just looked up, we could see it …

I’m thinking about how still that cloud looks like, knowing the chaos going on inside. All the molecules bouncing back and forth, rising and falling of air, condensation, evaporation…. I feel like that cloud.

If you will look closely on the horizon just where the cloud touches the land you will see a huge encampment buzzing with people torn between anxiety and excitment. Could it be that they were indeed free? Or was this all a dream? The silence is sureal.
And the Pillar of Cloud that had been in front also shifted to the rear. The Cloud was now between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel. The Cloud enshrouded one camp in darkness and flooded the other with light. The two camps didn’t come near each other all night. (Exodus 14:19-20 Message)
On the morrow the miracle that has been told and retold for millenia will be performed before these now drowzy eyes. Sleep oh valient ones; for in the morning you will see the sight that moves the hearts of singers and songwriters.
Alece - these picture pages are fun. I guess that in my minds eye African land is the backdrop the stories of Exodus, Egypt and Israel. Thanks for a bit of fun writing.
