squeeze squeeze squeeze

I squeezed her hand anyway. Every time I sat down in that chair, I squeezed her hand three times. That meant “I love you”. Maggs knew that. Throughout our dating and married life, three squeezes of any kind always meant “I love you”. And the person getting squeezed squeezed back either two or four times. Two squeezes meant “Me too” and four, “I love you too”.

I smiled as I read this in a novel I recently finished; Niel and I do this exact thing with each other. And it seemed the perfect description of our silent love gestures.

Do you and your certain someone do the “three squeeze hand hug”, too? Or have any other special things like that?

Don’t forget to squeeze your loved one today…

:) I like this. My husband and I do not do the hand squeeze thing, but we have our own ’special touch.’ We write on each other “I (heart) U (forever symbol)!!!” We did this through our dating and still do occassionally. I love little lovey things! It’s a nice profound way of reminding us of just how close we are. :)

Loved this post!

Just had to dash off and give my husband a big squeeze!

That’s sweet. We tap on each other three times “I-love-you” or like, Annie, write it out. When we were dating we’d write out all kinds of secret things on each other really fast like “I’d love to marry you one day” :)

yes it is true..there is several squeeze’s that just excides one , and make for a better day…it brings sunshine to your day….

This was wonderful!

Daddy and I have been doing that same thing for 34 years now!
